What to Wear to Brunch - December

Hello all you stylish day-drinkers!  I'm starting a new monthly series called "What to Wear to Brunch" where I basically tell you, well, what to where to brunch.  For this month's brunch outfit, I was super inspired by my trip to New York where I blew my load made very reasonable purchases whilst traipsing about SoHo.

My big score was this awesome Faux Fur Shawl Biker Jacket that I found at Topshop.  The big ass fluffy collar says, "I'm cuddly and feminine," while the heavy duty faux leather says, "I still might cut you."  It's the perfect combination of sensuality and intimacy without all the smothering commitment.

My next fave item is this Burnout Ringer Tee in mustard yellow.  This shirt got me through a drunken 10 am meeting in an Irish bar near Penn Station that lasted a solid 5 hours.  I paired it with this super bright Nars Pure Matte lipstick for some added fun.  I think the meeting went well.

Finally, my saving grace was this pair of Sorel Joan of Arc Wedge Boots.  Super comfy, even with a 3 1/4" heel,  I trotted around NYC for an entire week in these.  I won't say my feet were entirely pleased after all that walking, but it wasn't anything a little sketchy massage from Foot Heaven couldn't fix.
